Sarah,

As always, you offer such great advice. Thank you! At some point, I would love to hear how you plan, execute and juggle all of the things you offer us- if you ever feel like sharing that.

Cheers,

Sally

Hi 👋 I’m Liz and I write stories from my life about infertility, mental health, and adventure. My subscribers span all three of these themes. I’ve just returned from a 6-month road trip to Baja in my van via the national parks of the American Southwest. I’m interested in opportunities to guest post or be interviewed by writers who share any of these interests! Read more at www.lizexplores.com.

My Substack is called THE ART OF LITE LIVING and I write about how to have a minimalistic, but inspired life that is in line with your core values. For me it is art, travel, poetry and meaningful human connections. I don't waste time on the superficial. I write about a whole range of topics that move me in profound ways. And a lot of poetry. Honestly, I would be happy to collaborate with anyone who has a curious mind and writes about things I know nothing about - because more than anything, I love to learn!

Imola! Let's talk. I would love to collab with you, friend.

Of course! It goes without saying!

Hi, Jeannie - I just wanted you to know that your essay about the birth of your daughter on Chicago Story Press is one of the best things I've ever read on Substack, and I've been here for over 2 years. I found CPS though Substack, and I'm thrilled with, in general, the quality of its writing, although yours, in particular, really moved me. This is the kind of experiential, emotionally connected writing I am looking for / trying to write myself. If you would like to connect further, I would love that!

Jeannie Ewing's avatar

Wow, Francesca, may I use this comment publicly as a testimonial? I am blown away and deeply humbled by what you wrote and yes, absolutely, I would be thrilled to collaborate with you! Please feel free to check out my submissions page and/or DM me with ideas.

Hi, Imola! I'd love to connect. I'll message you. Thanks for putting your name here!

Thanks for this opportunity to meet, @Sarah! Great post.

✨Calling all mystical midlife mavens!✨

I believe menopause isn’t a crisis—it’s a spiritual activation. I write for open-minded women 50+ who are waking up to their power, purpose, and wild intuition after years of people-pleasing and playing small.

If you're also building a soulful community here on Substack, let's talk: cross-promotion, going live, or simply lifting each other up. I'm here for it. 🔥

DM me if your audience would vibe with healing, purpose, and a little cheeky magic. 💫

I would be interested in a collab of some sort. I write about practicing yoga when you are over 50, both on and off the mat. I have both male and female subscribers. I cover everything from yoga poses for specific issues to how to handle life's challenges with a yoga mindset/open heart. My substack is https://purpleroomyoga.substack.com

I love this idea as a way to find like-minded writers! Champagne Notes is a place for me to share the thoughts and ideas that are running through this mom brain 24/7 - parenting wins and woes, life in a neurodiverse household, my quest to implement fun family rituals, my love of books, love of learning, and my favorite online articles and inspiration. 💕

We could be a good fit? I love interviewing people live or for my podcast.

My Substack is The Hidden Path. I write about metaphysical topics - geared to help my readers find their most authentic way of living. Am open to guest posts, or posting on your similar Substack. My readers include many young women in their 30s and 40s, although I do have old broads like me! The majority of my readers are in California, New York, Florida, and Texas.

Hi Nancy, I just subscribed to your newsletter.

I wonder if we might have some synergy. I write https://lemurianlullaby.substack.com/

Where I'm offering up channeled messages of hope in these troubling times. My sweet spot is bridging both the old and the new worlds as women find their footing and heal.

Nancy Hendrickson's avatar

I love what you’re doing but not sure I see a space for my writing. It feels as though we are in parallel tracks without crossover. But thank you for the suggestion. 💚

I love the idea of writing on a similar topic initially... I love, in general, being in communication with another writer while I write. I think Sarah calls this a "light collab." In one sentence, my Substack is about living through post-divorce transitions with grace and courage. I write from a memoir / creative writing approach rather than a self-help directorial approach. Honestly, without doing a questionnaire, I don't know how to categorize my typical subscriber. I have more men than I would have expected, also more younger people. Lots of readers (by that I mean, not *my* readers, but folks-who-read-in-general) is probably the safest thing I can say!https://francescam.substack.com

I recommend Kerala Goodkin's Substack Mom, Interrupted. She's going through a post-divorce period too and has a lot of great insights on modern marriages and issues with many of them: https://keralagoodkin.substack.com/

Lara Gelya's avatar

Hi, I'm Lara Gelya, author of Camel from Kyzylkum—a deeply personal and historically rich memoir about growing up in the Soviet Union and escaping to freedom just before its collapse.

It’s a refugee story that spans continents, chronicling a journey of resilience, displacement, and the pursuit of a better life in the United States.

I'm eager to connect with like-minded individuals who are passionate about topics such as immigration, resilience, Soviet history, or memoir writing.

You can learn more about me and my work at laragelya.com or through my newsletter at laragelya.substack.com.

I would love to do some light collabs or recommendations with similar writers.

My Substack is called Perfectly Imperfect. It's about maintaining strong mental health and addiction-related issues. Here's the link: https://gevathole.substack.com/

My typical reader is female and interested in bringing more peace into their life.

Please reach out if you're interested or have other questions or ideas.

Hi Geva, I write about practicing yoga when you are over 50, both on and off the mat. I recently wrote a post about using non-judgment as a way to stop numbing and be kinder to yourself. I would be up for a collab of some sort. You can see my substack here: https://purpleroomyoga.substack.com

Love all the different collaboration ideas! I've done a few and would love to explore the others. I'm Betty, and I write about California Cuisine. Bright, fresh, and seasonal recipes to inspire you, regardless of where you live in the world. I also have a podcast where I interview food writers, recipe developers, and cookbook authors. Come by and say hi! https://bettyeatz.substack.com/

Christine Wolf's avatar

Hi! Great to meet you all! I'd love to collaborate with Substack writers. I'm Christine Wolf, a memoir coach and writing workshop instructor at Northwestern University. I write Writers' Haven by Christine Wolf on Substack. I'm curating a series called Writers On Writing, and I'm looking for other Substackers who'd like to have their Substacks featured through written interviews and Substack Live events. If you're interested in learning more, please reach out at www.christinewolf.com/contact.

I focus on sharing stories of vulnerability, resilience, and second chances.

I'm also about to announce a call for submissions this week for a book I'm co-editing with my husband*, called WE BEGAN AGAIN — Collected Essays On Second Chances. These can be second chances in relationships, careers, mindsets, living environments, you name it. If you subscribe to my Substack, you'll get all the info on how to submit your essay(s): https://christinewolf.substack.com/subscribe.

Wishing you all the best. Hoping to connect with many of you soon! I look forward to reading YOUR Substacks!

*We just got married 3 days ago! Second marriage for us both. We'd each been previously married for 26 years: He lost his first wife to cancer, and my first marriage ended in divorce.

Congrats, Christine, on your recent wedding! I saw this with one of your recent posts and loved the photo of the two of you. I also love the idea of your collaborative book. Such a great idea.

Congratulations, that's so exciting! And I love the idea of the Writers on Writing stories--I'll reach out.

Jeannie Ewing's avatar

Hi, everyone! I'm Jeannie Ewing, and I write under I Grow Strong Again here on Substack. I merge themes of motherhood, ambivalence, and midlife, and my passion is bringing people together through stories of our common, shared humanity.

I do all sorts of collabs. A mainstay for me is the guest post, which right now is under the theme of resilience (whatever that means to you) but mainly is a specific story with a narrative arc that demonstrates something hard or painful you went through, how you coped with it, and where you are now. These are wildly popular on my 'stack, which makes me happy, because I love celebrating people.

My readers and subscribers are deep thinkers, sensitive and thoughtful, value inclusion and conscious language/empathy. They are supportive, honest, heartfelt, vulnerable, and sincere.

To find more about my submissions (which are just guidelines--I will work with you!), please visit this link:
