I'm so glad. I didn't see this until just now. I'm sure you resolved this, but I normally say to start from scratch but to definitely repurpose anything you have that's worth sending again or that didn't reach a lot of people.
Hi Sarah, thank you so much for this excellent starter pack.
I've now read and digested it all, and you've inspired ideas for many changes. The question is, what to do first?
[I'd like to shorten articles - make them better, standardise my 'podcasts', which are guided prayers. I already have a proven library of 290 and would like to share it. Rewrite some of the early introductions, for example, my About page, which I did, which has AI (I'm now opposed to AI writing).]
All this will take a ton of time, as well as all the engagement/making friends.
Can you offer some ideas to help me work this out? Many thanks in advance, M
Michelle! I'm so sorry I'm just seeing this now. You may have worked through a lot of this, but my main advice is to begin now. In other words, don't rewrite anything. Just move forward, except definitely redo your About page, which you may have already done.
I purchased two courses from you earlier this year. How do I access them now that I am ready to begin? Thanks so much for your help.
Hi there! Will you email me: sarah@substackwritersatwork.
Much easier to take care of it that way.
done
May I ask what courses you purchased? I'd be curious to know what she has available. Thank you!
It's been over a year since I published anything so in many ways I'm starting again (although I do have subscribers, so that's nice!)
I'm really looking forward to returning to writing and to Substack. I'll be sure to check these out before I publish
Hi, Esther! So great to see you!
Thank you so much for this helpful starter pathway.
We’re moving over from Beehiiv where we have a small but engaged readership of around 4,000 subscribers.
We have about 35 previous posts.
Do you recommend bringing the backlog of writing over here, or starting from scratch?
