The magic of your Substack About page

I love it when people ask me if their Substack About page matters.

  • Does anyone really look at it?

  • Don’t some successful Substacks have, like, nothing there?

  • Why bother?

My response: Would you freely give out your email address and money for a paid subscription without checking out the source?

Exactly.

The “right” way to write your About page

There is a right way to write your About page, i.e., a way that deepens your connection with yourself, your work, and Substack. The right/wrong thing has nothing to do with how it looks but what it does for you in the writing of it.

(Don’t worry. You don’t have to have it all figured out. Getting to know your Substack is an ongoing process.)

My love of helping you see who you are and what you have to offer (you have no idea how talented and fascinating you are!) and showing you how to communicate it to potential subscribers runs deep.
