I read this exciting post to you here for those of you on the go ↑

I can’t say she (via Travis) will definitely join Substack Writers at Work, but let’s just say fingers and toes are crossed

Taylor Swift is on Substack!!

(There aren’t enough exclamation points to express my excitement.)

Trad wife or not, Taylor Swift continues to enthrall me with each album. The newest always runs on repeat until, well, she puts out another album, which doesn’t take long.1

And now…she’s on Substack.

Well, the

Kelce Brothers
are and their short description reads, “Keeping you up to date on everything happening in the Kelce world, KelceBrothers is the trusted source for accurate, meaningful coverage of the Kelce family- an independent media hub for all things Kelce and Swift.”

I don’t love the hyphen where a dash should be, but I love this: “an independent media hub for all things Kelce and Swift.” Independent media.

That’s what makes Substack great. Social media or not, it’s a place for us to create our own independent media hubs.

Which brings us to our next topic…

What’s really happening on Substack right now

As I wrote in The People Predicting Substack in 2026 Are Wrong, there are all sorts of boring, doom-and-gloom predictions about Substack becoming social media and big Substack accounts (only four by my count) leaving the platform and whatever else.

Let me tell you what’s really happening. Actually, I’ll let Substack co-founder

Hamish McKenzie
do it, lest anyone think I have insider knowledge (beyond my sixth sense for all-things-Swift).

I don’t want to be negative because if it feels right to leave, then you need to listen to yourself, but don’t follow people who maybe aren’t telling the whole story as to why they’re really leaving and who have resources far beyond the average Substack writer.

And I get to help you here. On Substack and nowhere else.

So stay with me.

And Taylor.

Which brings us to our next topic…

What’s coming in November!

For paid subscribers and Premier Members—because you need to put skin in the right game (football pun intended) and a proven framework (not theories or what worked for one person or on Medium). Substack is its own world, and I’m your guide. (Mixed metaphor—skin, guide—but let’s move on.)

Here’s the focus of the Fay Substack Growth Framework in the coming year:

I absolutely had to put my photo here because it might be the only time T-Swift and I share the same space.

Yes, everything rests on knowing your Substack DNA, the core of your Substack, which I’ll continue to harp on maybe forever.
